Reflective Surfaces
From December 6th to 8th, 2024, Miami will host Reflective Surfaces, a digital art exhibition that explores the perception of reality through works that interact with the surrounding environment. The exhibition will take place aboard a boat docked.
The waves, the light playing on the water, and the movement of the boat create a unique environment, becoming an integral part of the visual and conceptual experience of the exhibition.
The location of the exhibition, which blends the fluidity of digital art with the natural element of the sea, is not just a stage but becomes an actor in the artistic process itself. The reflective surfaces of the works interact with the surrounding environment: the reflection of waves crashing against the boat, the sunset light reflecting on the water, and the constant movement of the vessel, all offer a complete sensory experience. Each digital piece merges with the dynamism of the water and the breath of the sea, guiding
the audience toward a new understanding of the concept of "flow" and continuous transformation.
In this context, digital art is not limited to representation; it becomes a real-time interpretation of nature and the human experience. The undulating movement of the sea, which passes through and reflects the boat's surfaces, transforms each moment into a new visual reading. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on how art, like water, slips and transforms constantly, responding to every subtle change in its surroundings.
